Why We’re Building PresenceWave

Most small businesses already have a website, but having a website is only the beginning. We’re building PresenceWave to help service businesses turn that website into something that actively attracts leads, captures enquiries, learns from customers, and brings them back. It brings together simple tools for forms, offers, surveys, email, analytics and customer engagement without requiring businesses to stitch together a dozen different services. We’re starting with service businesses because we believe there’s a huge gap between having a professional-looking website and actually getting the most out of it. We’re also building PresenceWave differently: around the needs of each type of business, with ready-made templates and workflows that can be customized rather than starting from scratch. We’re early, and we’re still learning what businesses actually need most. So as we build, we’re talking to business owners, studying how they work, and using what we learn to shape the product. PresenceWave is our attempt to make the website a much more useful part of the business—not just an online brochure.
